About · Me

I make advanced technology make sense.

My career was built inside the systems that large organisations actually depend on — Gulf Air, SABRE, EDS and Bahrain Islamic Bank — running the infrastructure, the databases and the operations behind them. Work where a failure was not a slide on a risk register. It was a phone call at two in the morning.

More recently that has meant cloud architecture for regulated financial technology, where the questions are the same ones every sector now faces: where does the data live, who can reach it, what does it cost, and what happens when it breaks.

That is the difference I bring to artificial intelligence. I am not describing it from the outside. I have spent a career being accountable for technology decisions, and I now help boards, ministries and universities make theirs with clear eyes.

It is also why I build with AI rather than only advise on it. Running Fintech AI Advisory on an AI workforce taught me exactly where these systems earn their place and exactly where they cannot be trusted — which is the difference between selling you a pilot and telling you the truth.
